JENNIFER A.
ENGELHARDT
Ms. Engelhardt is an associate in our business litigation
department. She concentrates her practice in medical malpractice
defense and family law. Jennifer has handled a myriad of general
civil litigation cases including medical malpractice, automobile
negligence, premises liability, assault and battery, sexual
harassment, and general negligence. Jennifer's experience includes
representing clients from the pre-suit phase through appeal,
including facilitation and other forms of alternative dispute
resolution.
Experience:
Prior to joining
Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C., Jennifer was an associate at
Wulfmeier & Ottenwess, PLC, as well as Mellon, McCarthy, and Pries,
PC. She also served as a law clerk in Oakland County's civil
litigation division for a number of years.
Jennifer served as
the editor-in-chief of Wayne State University Law School's Moot
Court program. While in law school, she earned the Walter Nussbaum
Award for outstanding performance in the professional responsibility
course.
Jennifer is a
member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Trial Lawyers
Association, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, DRI, the Women's
Law Association of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association,
where she recently participated in the 2006-2007 Inn of Court
program.
Outside of work,
Jennifer is involved in charitable causes, and is particularly
interested in Breast Cancer charities and fund-raising activities.
