TIMOTHY E. HARDEN

Mr. Harden counsels businesses and individuals in a variety of areas.

Business Planning:


Mr. Harden assists businesses in their formation, operation, and in mergers or acquisitions.  He advises health care organizations, physicians, and other health care professionals at every level of health care law.

International Law:


Mr. Harden assists companies from such diverse places as China, Germany, and India to do business with American companies or to locate new facilities in Michigan.  Similarly, he advises American companies in their dealings with Asian and European companies, including contracts and joint ventures.  Tim speaks Spanish at a basic conversational level and is learning Mandarin Chinese.

Taxation:


Mr. Harden advises businesses on the tax implications of prospective agreements or transactions and assists both businesses and individuals in tax planning and disputes.

Probate and Estate Planning:


Mr. Harden also assists individuals with their estate planning needs, including tax minimization strategies and the preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, as well as providing advice on which of these is appropriate for a client's situation.  Tim also probates wills and intestate estates and assists trustees in the administration of trusts.

Memberships:


Mr. Harden is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Federalist Society, State Bar of Michigan and State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section.  He is also active in the Association for Corporate Growth, Detroit Chinese Business Association, Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the German American Chamber of Commerce.
